Keep them until you are 100% confident to do them justice as well as finding the right pen. I would go for one of the kits from Beaufort inks he has some very nice kits worthy of them blanks

Yes, Nigel, they deserve better than a slimline, though I still like the Streamline kit if you don't want to pay high end prices.
Derek is right about Beaufort Ink kits and his advice about getting more confidence. If you like a particular kit I suggest that you buy a few of their tubes and practice on them with cheap timber. You can always turn them off and start again.

Good advice above.....
I have blanks that are 10 years old because I want them to be right, I also have kits waiting for the right blanks... It dosent get any easier......
Personally I would buy a few different kits and try them out first, untill you find one you like....
My list would be..... Taylors Mirfield Omega (value for money) Beaufort Levech (my goto kit) Beaufort Mistral (a real nice top end) jnr Gent 2 also look at the Cigar kits(oftern underrated)
Keep an eye on what others post it's great for inspiration and will help with deciding what colours go together...... But don't feel you need to rush head first into turning one of everything with every different media.....:thumbs:
