Normally the ballpoints use a retracting mechanism and so there is no need for a cap. Rollerballs tend to use a cap which in the main can be postable .  You will notice that the Beaufort pens are all named after winds …..each has a Beaufort scale!!  I would also recommend the Leveche simply because it has a very nice quality feel.  Each pen kits is shaped inside to take a certain refill ie most of the ballpoint kits use either cross style  mechanisms or Parker style mechanisms so a ballpoint refill won’t just replace a rollerball refill, without a lot of ferkling around.  You could of course go ‘kitless’ and design your own, there are plenty on the forum who could help you there.
