Lovely finish on all of them Neil. I take it you just used your usual EEE then 1 coat of shellawax cream.

Yup! With the exception of the Spalted beech and Zebrano which, instead of using the EEE, I use a couple of squirts of cellulose sanding sealer from the aerosol (burnished dry with a bit of blue paper cloth), not the bottle, as this doesnt make the wood a deeper brown. I also use this method with and Walnut.

Nicely turned pens Neil, are the Yew, Kingwood and Spalted Beech sets? You can see the excellent finish on each pen ... :thumbs:

No there not sets Jim, I gave up turning sets after over two years I sold one set, do them to order but done as many that way!
