Hi, Guys,

Amazing how different each piece of afzelia differs from the next! I turned this Jr.Gents rollerball earlier - and it's nothing like the Euro I posted last week. Lovely wood to turn and work with. Takes a polish, as well. This one is finished with three coats of BLO and CA. Sorry about the photo (Yes, Brian, it's a photo!)

Bob.

That's another wood I haven't seen IRL. Absolutely superb.

Nothing to be sorry about Bob that's a better picture than your scanner.
Thanks for making the effort.
Nice pen lovely wood.
Jim The plastic is in the bin.
I have just wasted 4 days off work by doing absolutely bugger all.
I went to shed and couldn't find the enthusiasm to do anything, I am just so tired all the time lately, I think I needed that rest.

LOL, Jim!!! Just shows you how ever-changing our beautiful world is, right? Off with the mask, you say? Yeah, that may happen soon, LOL!

Thanks, guys, for all your kind comments - much appreciated!

Bob.

Bob,

I agree this timber has many faces some out of this world. Like your pen and your take on turning it.

Kind regards Peter.:goesred:
