Mixing blanks rarely comes off this pen really did come together so well David a real one off conversation piece. I was looking at Thuya Burl last night in the blank storage room and put it aside for a rainey day, so glad this pen came up today it is special.

The reason behind two different blanks was a lesson learn't. Do not over tighten tail stock when turning The pine cone blanks , it is soft resin /cone mix just buckled when turning almost finished it :sob: ruined the blank.
Very costly lesson learn't. :sob::sob:
