This was my first go at an Alunilite blank, it certainly cuts & finishes nicely.

The pen rest when you put the last pen on the forum is cross cut the pen with the grain had me confused sure is neat grain then you said your first Aluminite and I assumed it was your mix but its James and it is magnificent the pen a standout Doug.

nice pen Doug reminds me of the marbles we played with as youngins ( dingers ):thumbs::thumbs:

Peter when I played marbles I never heard of dingers but because of the 2nd World War marbles were very valuable and hard to get some hoers used to use destroyers (ball bearings).Brought back so many memories.
