Hi all

My latest alumilite casting. Was asked by a colleague for a chunky yellow fountain pen with a broad nib (supplied by Phil). I need to sort out taking better pictures and also work out why my alumilite blanks have small flecks in them. I think it might be small holes left from casting that get filled with dust...

That's great Stewart - being able to think of it and then cast and turn it within days are a pretty unique part of this hobby - sort of pen that might be difficult to lose :thumbs:

Thanks for the appreciative comments. I like the two colours - it was originally going to be all yellow but I blew up three sections and used up all the yellow I had! The cap and barrel are pretty straightforward to do but the section took me ages to get right. Sod's law though that the next day I made a section in 30 minutes that worked!

I'm hoping to work on some more interesting designs as the next step.
