Just wondering if anyone has had a go with this stuff, saw a guy on you tube using it for rings and was wondering about the possibility of pens maybe?

Haven't heard of alumilite UV resin, but fly fishers / tyres use UV resin a lot for coating certain fly's to create a hard finish, so that fish can't get their teeth into them and basically destroy the fly.
I can tell you its very effective in very small quantities. When a small amount is applied to a fly and zapped with a UV torch it only takes up to 20 seconds to turn the liquid into a solid. I have used it for other things but honestly couldn't comment how effective it would be on larger objects, how much power would be required from the UV light source and how long it would take to harden.
