Amboyna on a JR Gentleman's Pen

This wood was sent to me by Ed (naxie) .. Many Thanks Ed ..

A Gold plated JR Gentleman's pen carrying a blank made from Amboyna, finished with a couple of coats from friction polish and waxed using the Renaissance Wax Polish ..

What is the rennaissance wax finish like Jim.
Just invested in a jar off Evilbay , cannot wait to try it out. looks good.

Johnny, i have found me using this wax on all my pens of late, but only when using a friction polish finish .. All with good results .. But like many things in pen turning what works for one doesn't necessarily mean it will work for others.. :thumbs:

Looks a great finish. I will try it myself when it arrives off evilbay. I Must add that your finish looks excellent.Hope mine is the same
