Fresh of the lathe today an 8 sided Sycamore Tazza it was just an experiment to see if it works the bowl is 8" and the food 4" video to follow latter if anyone is interested

Very nice, an octagon (from the Greek ὀκτάγωνον oktágōnon, "eight angles") is a polygon that has eight sides.

Wow! That is fantastic!

Think I might try something a bit more simple first though, like a square!

A square one will be harder to turn than an 8 sided one wait for the video and you will see just how easy they are to make
