I see you have shelled out on stains, and are you egg-aggerate about it rolling about. Is it a egg-box.

OK OK I give in no more egg comments

A good idea and like that you made it from the same wood and used the same pattern. Is this a box or just a solid piece.

Hi Derek, afraid it's just a solid piece never though of making it into a box, but that's a good idea.

Good shape, nice finish. I have turned my share of eggs practicing the skew. Adding the design and colour ramps up the appeal. How did you add the colour?

Hi Terry, the colours are wood stains from the Chestnut range, applied with a brush. Thanks for your kind comments.
