i stumbled across this and found it interesting. it may be of use to others who are also just starting out on the route to creating our masterpieces!

The Woodworking Reference Library - Designing Pens: Master Class

i have found it quite difficult to find basic information on the basics of pen making- what things you can do, what looks like what. This is useful for looking at a range of possibilities, without having to risk a blank and kit on each one to see if it looks good.
