I knew you would produce something different. Good work.
Dave, the truth be told.... I made the segmented part, a month ago, full size for an Aquilo and dropped it onto the table saw before it had finished turning and wrecked the end of it. Seeing the shortness of the upper barrel, I reduced both ends and stuck on African Blackwood.
Job done.

I too had the blanks made to size just waiting for the tubes. At one stage I questioned Phil about the 11/32 drill, as it wasn’t clear from his first email.
