Quick shot of a members bike there are two hundred pieces of timber in the top part of the frame he rides it to work about 40km return. Its for sale for 6700.00 AU Dollars took him 6 mths to do.

I would be interested in Knowing more about the construction of it.:thinks:

Note the take down bow in the foreground.

Its a 90 lb pull from another maker we were curious who was strong enough to use it. Apparently theres an article in the paper about the bike I will try to find it.

My bow is a 65lb, one mate pulled an 80lb bow another pulled an 110lb bow.
Back in the good old days in Merrie England the average longbow was 110lb, my mate said if nothing else at lest he's an average archer.:funny::funny:

Detailed analysis of the War bows recovered from the Tudor warship Mary Rose, which sank in battle in 1545 with an almost complete inventory including hundreds of bows and thousands of arrows, show the draw weights ranging from 80lbs to 180lbs with the most prolific being in the 140lb range.
