Hi everyone. Thanks for letting me join. I’m new to all woodwork as I’ve always avoided it. Now I’m in very early retirement it’s time to learn things new. So I’ll be sitting the back ground for a while picking up hint and tips.
I’ve tried a few types of woodwork over the last year or so and always been a hands on person so know my way around the workshop.

Welcome Dave so many different forms of woodworking and obviously turning is one of them as you are here.
I for one enjoy making models and toys. woodturning of all types and also a total novice at woodcarving and scrollwork. We have all sorts on here so there are plenty to give advice

You've come to the right place. Lots of help and advice, by some seriously talented people. My advise to you, would be to spend some time looking through the threads on this forum. It's a real eye opener.

Kind regards

Craig

Hi Dave - welcome aboard. No need to sit in the background - feel free to comment and join in with the banter. Everyone here had to start their woodworking journey somewhere, so also feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Welcome Dave. You should find lots to interest you on here. Pen turning one has to warn you can become a bit addictive but then that’s half the fun. Enjoy the forum.
