Heat brings out the colour too I've been told. I put a lot of heat into mine on the lathe and it turned from brown to purple.

Maybe Paul is injecting them Brian ... Tis a great looking pen Rob, with plenty of colour .. And again no white spots ..

I have been leaving it in the sunlight, but after I have finished it with CA.

Probably should have done this before the finish.

But it does seem to be going slightly more purple, slowly.
