Hey I think I might be getting better at this recognise the wood game, my first thought was Sapele which goes along with some others that have identified the wood.

very nice, where did the wood come from?

Paul the wood came from a very large garden canopy or umbrella that my son threw out, he always ends up bringing stuff to us because we have a large garden and can burn most rubbish, I have been using this timber for ages as there was so many long ribs on this thing, I try to recycle what i can! :whistling:
