Made from triangles of decking from the pier after the fire with veneers of the old pier.

There wont be many pens knocking about carrying this timber on its back, well turned and finished Paul... Just pleased you started turning pens six months ago ... We could have been in for a long night ... :funny:

Its a good job I didn't start a year ago Jim, I would be bombarding the forum with pictures of my pens ... just to get 25 posts.... Oh.. Duh!

If you're going to nick most of the pier in your pen turning exploits could you please make sure that when there's nought left of the middle, that my mother in law who is a local resident, is on a day trip to the end at the time, you'll do civilised society a service.

Take Terry with you Paul, you wont need any distraction.. I would put money on it he could cadge some ... :ciggrin:
