Fly Fishing pen frame with a Brown Trout on Curly Maple.
Used Testors Waterslide decal paper.
Finished with 6 coats of MINWAX Clear Gloss WBOM Polyurethane using my Dipping Method.
Placed fish for either right handed or left handed writers.

That WBOM makes a nice finish.
I wonder if this method would be OK to embed decals on a finished acrylic
pen. Rather than taking the chance of many coats of CA, then try to sand and polish
without going through the decal???
Not sure if it will hold up on the acrylic - poly surface.

I finish my pens with ca then apply the decal and then finish again with ca

No problem.
Just apply the decal on the acrylic and apply Polyurethane.
