I'm looking for some ebonite for a few things I want to try this year, and a quick search of fleaBay coughed up this listing. Now it strikes me (see what I did there?) that if these are solid they could be cut up into quite a fair amount of pen component blanks, BUT ...

... what is the likelihood they are solid? And if so, what quality is the ebonite? Anyone got some light to shed?

Have you tried Vince? He often has more in than is listed on his website.
Ebonite / Hard Rubber

I've seen that, Bob, but without any disrespect to Vince that's £6.99 plus shipping for 130mm versus the Amazon link from India at £90 for about 7.5m. Fir a kitless bulb-filler I use about 240mm so from Vince I'd be spending over £15 for each pen - just on ebonite!

Makes sense David but depending on what he has in he might be willing to sell full lengths. I can't speak for Vince and he might have limited stock or prefer to sell as blank lengths but could possibly be worth an email even if just to write it off? Shy bairns get nowt!

Bit different for me I guess as I'd call in and there wouldn't be p&p.
