I first turned a seam ripper for my dear ol' Ma. She loved it so. And then asked for another for the wicked sister... I tried so hard to not make it look so nice but my lord that blank just popped.
Pine cone hybrid blank used. Unfortunately lost most of the pine cone due to the size of the kit, but i still like the subtle hints of wood here and there. Just polished with Head Strong abrasive paste and given a coat of turtle wax.
And for all you turners I even used a skew to shape... PPPHHHWOOOAAARRRR.... I'll get me coat.
