As I say, it is your decision Steve. Personally I would buy a replacement mandrel shaft that fits the mandrel saver so that I could always be able to use the mandrel saver with any of the mandrels from the major suppliers without if flapping around like a pair of Anne Widdicombe's knickers. However if you are certain you will only ever use it with the oversize TB shaft then go for it.
