I am after gold or chrome finish Apple leaves/stems that garnish the tops of turned Apple's or pears. I was wondering if anyone here does them and if you have a source for the leaves/stems cheaper than turners retreat?

Thanks Johnny, they are cheaper if you buy 10 more so that'll do me unless anyone else knows of another supplier ?

I have shopped around for them in the past and have not found anything better than the Axi deal when you buy 10.

Be careful with them they are quite brittle and it does not take much to break them

Yes Woody, I was just talking about it with my other half and she said the same thing. I was using a tutorial in Woodturning magazine to make the fruit (need more practice) and that says to use a twig. IT could always be painted with some gold leaf paint:thumbs:

I have used some gold gilding cream that works but mostly just a twig or a v shaped slice of wood
