Hi All

These 2 were requested by a chap I work with one for him, one for his wife, before any smarty pants asks....the Vertex in purple is for his wife.

C+C always welcome, other than the photography as it is what it is at the moment.

So, the hot pink one is for him and the purple one is for his wife, what kit is the hot pink one on, I think that both pens would go down well with the girls:thumbs:

Kevin,

Slightly confused, the purple clad kit isnt a vertex, isnt it a magnetic rollerball kit? Is there not a couple of rings missing from the top of the chairmans pen?

You are right it is a magnetic, my mistake, when I looked at the destruction's for the Chairman's Kit on the IAP it doesn't say anything about the spare rings, which are still sitting on the bench in the shed, I'll disassemble the cap tomorrow if you can tell me where they are meant to go, on the post or above the pocket clip.

Kevin,

Can you give us a review on the magnetic rollerball? What's the kit quality, balance etc like?

On the issue of the rings, they fit on the centreband on the cap. You will have two rings, one gold, one chrome. As you have a chrome kit the rings should be assembled so you have a chrome sandwich with the gold bit in the middle. If all not clear let me know and I'll post a pic of one that I've done.

Hi All

Thanks for the advice on the rings, I've had a look on line and I think I'll just add the single chrome ring as the single band of Gold (Coloured) jars a bit with my sensabilities.

Neil
I like the magnetic pen, I put a high waist on it to stop it looking too linear, in the hand the weight is fine but when the cap is posted I feel it's just a tad too long, as Im not a great penman I'm not sure how it would feel when writing, but with the cap off I found it fine to write with.

The kit reflects the price I suppose but the machined parts fitted well and the coating gives the impression of haing a depth/'thickness' to it.
