Ash n' stainless steel bowl

Had a right old fight with this today. The top section split in two at one point. But, I shall not be beaten and ended up with a split bowl with stainless steel pins ( recycled of course ) finished with matt black on the outside to try and keep it moody and lacquered inside. At least I got the grain on the inside lined up ok. And most of all, I had fun:thumbs:

I like that Brody. It's nicely turned & finished. I like the black outside & the gallery rail effect. Quite elegant & different.:thumbs:

I like this alot may have to try one of these. Maybe with wooden pins, once again another excellent design.

Nice gallery bowl that Brody made a few years ago bot with all wood like the black and wood effect with the metal pins

Now that is what I call a fantastic rescue Brody. Sometimes it amazes me what people can do with a piece that has split or blown apart yet still manage to get something that looks great
