As promised this is the first piece out of the workshop for nearly a month. I have incorporated some pyrography this being the first to go onto any of my turning so kept it simple, as it turned out the simple was the best for this little vase.
The vase is Ash and is 4 1/2" X 2 1/2" so as you can see it is little. I wanted to do a poppy but not the same as the normal for this time of year.

That's different than I have seen in the past Derek, superb job mate, putting new skills to the test is always great fun..

Especially now that the Great Grandson has shown you how to go about it and do it right..:face:
