Thanks fellas I do enjoy my fun in the shed and every time a pen is turned it gives pleasure to play with the design. As you know I turn both ends separately on another pen today a little magic occurred that makes it all worthwhile I will post in the next few days the result.

Well made, top looks The grooves you have there must be coming really close to the tubes! I almost feel like it would be easier to use metal lathe to get such details.
