Unfortunately the wood isn't quite big enough to make anything other than a slim/streamline but it has made a cracking pen. The wood was a bit like Thuya to turn as it has an oily texture to it.
Unfortunately not Phil. I've got some Indian Sandalwood that I bought when I was in in Bombay (yes that long ago) and it still smells strong. This doesn't have any smell at all.
