Hi ,
Anyone on here got one of these band-saws and how do you change the speed ??

The manual says just move the belts and mind your fingers.
I have been trying for the last hour to change the bloody thing. :thinks:
Fiddly and the belts wont transfer , i have tried screwdrivers spoons and anything else that i can fit under the belts.

any help please.

turn power off
unplug from wall

I have done everything you say bar move the belt.
The idler was slackened fully but i cant get the belt to go into the next pulley, still too tight to get over the lip of the pulley
I will try again in the morning if i dont succeed will ring Axminster Monday .

I have just downloaded the manual and it shows that you have to loosen the motor slide and tilt the motor forward to slacken the belt
