I got home late so not unpacked or made room for it yet. I grabbed the instructions out of the box to have a read whilst having a pint. Thats where I saw the bit about the short tool platform and micro tools so looked up pictures of it and saw no groove for the extra jigs. I will get the thing out of the box tomorrow and hopefully, as you say, the standard platform will be fine. The thing is very well made though. Tempted on the knife sharpening addon someday.
