I did wonder if and when somebody would pick up on that, well done Peter you win first prize.

Prize today is self abuse in a darkened room, you may switch the light off now.


If you mean what's in the blue circle, it's reflection from the pen nib section.

If you mean what's in the green circles, that is where the end grain was sealed with ca and has leached into the grain a touch discolouring it slightly.

None of this shows to the eye but has been picked out by the camera.

The other difference is, I have taken one of the beads each section off making it a smaller pen, you may find that odd but once again looks fine in the hand.
