Not done much turning for the past two years due to a house sale which took ages and a problem with bad headaches caused by displaced occipital nerves, both problems having been solved and a move to a house with a 20 x 8 foot garage I thought once the house had been sorted turning here I come wrong! The garage/workshop was roughly sorted out but I had not made allowances for extras lawnmower, garden tools, saddle, tack, various pairs of boots and all the usual clutter. Right bought a 10 x 8 foot shed extras problem solved. Everything organised in the garage I had a nice size workshop only problem it was freezing, tried various electric heaters not very successfully, was chatting to the wife about it and she had what turned out to be a brainwave she suggested partitioning off the end which would make it easier to heat. A trip to Wickes followed and a smaller area for the lathes was built, it takes a half an hour to heat to a comfortable temperature using a fan heater. Now that it is almost organised I can start turning again.
The first three photos are of the lathe end the other four are off what I call the general end, now to get down to some turning two years have given me lots of ideas, unfortunately I have lots of pen kits but I need to update them to include Phil and Dan's latest kits and some others that have taken my eye.
