Jim good fortune mate great satisfaction using smooth operating bandsaws and I agree 100% that the kerf width creates economic cutting. Working within the capacity of what you have is a great way to succeed our Wood Guild went beserk and bought a Hammer brand big band saw result of toffy nose twits decision without seeing its been a mongrel so cost also is no indicator sometimes. We have a saying flash as a Rat with a Gold Tooth well it sometimes happens when you least expect it. Richard Raffan has owned so many simple saws so many given him by manufacturers to demo etc he convinces me the old adage its not what you have but what you do with it counts.Brian watched Die Hard some number American film recently from cover to cover more excitement in there than a lot of Bond films. Not so many lay days.
