All is well and all that bandsaws can do that to you mate but they become best friends. Another thought I find fitting efficient dust extraction especially near the lower guides prevents the build up that can create if a thinnish sliver pops down amongst that stuff it can cause mayhem. We have dogs so the sawdust is ideal to spread and use for us I believe it is this dust we have to seriously watch out for in the shop. To assist using the saw I make narrow entry slots where the blade passes through the table as well.
