Apologies if you have seen this before. This was made a few weeks ago for the "pass the parcel" challenge, on the institute.
I can't tell you the size, as the challenge is ongoing.
Although I have been in the workshop quite a bit, I haven't managed to get on a lathe for days, as I've been cutting blanks to be ready for the August do.

Made from scrap Walnut and Black Walnut, or as they are now known, pen blanks!:whistling:

I didn't even take a picture when I made it, this one is a "snip" from the recipient.

Like it Neil, is there a kit for this or did you buy the chains with the intensions of making these scales .. :thinks:

Just made it up Jim!
Usually just use stuff lying about, but in this case I had to buy the chain and rings from the local craft shop.
Didn't have enough stuff in the same finish.
The hard bit was the bowls, not only did they have to weigh the same, but getting the tear out to match was a real Bu##er!:whistling::funny::funny:
