Ok pulled the bandsaw apart, cleaned and oiled everything, then rebuilt it with all the guides etc in the proper places

Then cut some teak blanks, i wetted 3 of them down to try to show the grain, all I need to do now is go pick up my lathe
The blanks are 16 x16 mm x 6 inch if anyone wants a couple FOC let me know would love to see them turned down
Cheers

Happy you have progressed with the bandsaw , caution with the Teak for pens unless it has some special grin it makes a plain pen as a rule.

I have a beaut small work bench made of forest Teak in the old days A retired member from our club was in Asia, had it made for him, terrific bench he sold it to me. Teak is a wonderful furniture timber.
