A piece of Wych Elm gifted to me by John Hodgson in Scotland.
The bowl section is 3 1/2" Diameter x 2" high.

It's not a wood I'm familiar with Neil but it looks good mate. With such a small piece of wood you've done well to get a bowl out of it. Did you end up using a jam chuck on it?

The very name conjurs up Hobgoblins and deep mysterious. Love this bowl Neil . A friend since passed made a tour of the UK researching, photographing very old Monk seats in Churches in England where he was born it reminds me of these.

Lovely Neil - I like that a lot. Very Hodgsonesque. (although he would probably have set light to it somewhere along the line).
