This Baron fountain pen was completed today. The blank is Paroba Rosa from South America. It is a sandy colour with a faint blue hue to it. Finished in CA

Great looking pen terry love the finish, wish I could master the ca finish

I spray the blank with acrylic sanding sealer before applying the CA. I set the speed to about 800/850 rpm.
I apply thin CA to a bit of kitchen roll and one quick wipe to the spinning blank and then spray on the activator. Repeat about 10 times and then sand with wet micromesh to 12000 grit with the lathe running at 3000rpm.
