I picked up a Baron Fountain and Rollerball kit at the show, from Turners Retreat.
Walnut, with Melamine finish.

Can't normally sell these for toffee, around here, but thought I should have some samples.

Both well turned and finished Neil, anyone seeing the quality of these should certainly help with the selling of them.. :winking:

They are a smashing pair and great finish one thing i would say if you buy them from timber bit they have a matching 12 facet of the nib end on both the roller ball and fountain pen

If they don't sell your punters are barking mad with no taste.

They look just right Neil. I have turned about ten of the barons and managed to sell all of them mainly to family as they say that it is a comfy pen to hold and use (who am I to argue with family)

Neil I care for the flats on the nib end the greatest fail IMHO of most larger pens is this half of the pen. I think thats the reason most people only show pics of them assembled however on the other hand first impressions count as you take one out of your pocket and hope like crazy some ideot doesnt try to pull it open. Because of the flats that for me ease the pain your pens do present well and I hope for you sell well. Like all kits some areas cant get enough of them.

I can't see any problems with the Barons, they look like they would sell to me, but then, who am I to comment, not being a prolific seller!
