Now they're a good idea Phil and if you source them, I'd be interested.

Pounds for dollars makes them a tad expensive to resell I'd think :thinks:

Although there's a few people in US with them for sale at 35 - 40 USD

I may see if I can a couple to try and then SWMBO can have them.

Paul I'll let you know if I go ahead and how I get on.

Pastry Brush in baking accessories at Lakeland

Phill
I've actually seen the Lakeland ones a while ago and never crossed my mind they could be adapted but I think the existing handle could be removed to get the brush.
I might be near a shop next Monday and if so will have a look see. I might even buy one!

Paul/Phil,

The correct tern is brush knots. Most of them come from a rather unfamiliar place called China, where the badger is a right bloody nuisance and as it has legs and walks gets eaten, and at this point in the cycle of life it's coat is somewhat superfluous. Might be up for a group buy if you are in need of more than one! I have several sources.

Got myself confused there, thought I was still reading phials thread about the shaving set commission. No idea about basting brush knots, it was shaving knots I was referring to.

No luck so far, all in China and I need to find another 4999 mad woodturners to make it worthwhile.

:funny::funny::funny:

What's the problem with that Phill? Enough maddies on here and at the rate more or joining you'll soon get that many:bwink:
