Battery Corrosion!

Is there any way of cleaning out corrosion from a battery in a remote.
I have clean all the corrosion in the battery compartment but I can see some in the circuit board area.
Is there any thing that I can spray in there to neutralise it?

Isopropyl alcohol 99% and scrub with an old (or the wifes) toothbrush
