Well got my all clear regarding my Cataract Surgery. Can see well without glasses but got a cheap pair from chemist and can read OK.
These are my first attempt on the new Jetstream, one in Zebrano wood with chrome fittings and the other in Purpleheart with Gunmetal fittings......

No both from the same piece. Bottom half had like a big knot in it nearly all the way round it. Top half didn't but it did have line to line up with.....
As Flexi says you never find out what you get till you turn it....

They are similar to slimline and Streamline. I thought I had made a mistake as the top section seemed very loose. But when I put mechanism in it was OK. The Zebrano blank is the same just in the lower half there was a large knot all the way round and was very dark colour. But turned out beautiful. People have asked if it's two woods. Will have to get a few in acrylic and some Notus as well, Alan Morrison gave me some nice Yew blanks... so think I will try one in it.....
