Clement you stirred up those blanks and gave them Royal treatment from start to finish. Melamine finish handled this way is impressive.Goldfield is a term used to cover a multitude of Eucs that come from the south and south centre of Western Australia, covers many varieties,the beautiful grain suits the pen, shown truly by the finish.

Thanks for the comments ! When i've seen the wood it was presented as eucalyptus root, i search the web and found it was described as Goldfield burr and seems to be the same family as mallee, do'nt know it is true but that's what i found on the web
