Beech Euro

Just finished this from the Beech block I got the other day.
Dried it in the microwave (before turningLOL).
I'll hang on to it for a while to see if it does crack.

Beech in it's self is a stable wood .. but quick drying in a microwave could have adverse effects later on.

Ed beat me to it.
The block as I received it was very "wet/heavy"
I think if the quick dry treatment didn't fully dry the blank, as it keeps drying it might crack.
We'll see.

Why Angelo plenty of dry wood mate wish you were nearer plenty here.

It was an 11" x 11" x 5" block wax sealed all around.
Was pretty wet, had a hard time cuttung it on the bandsaw.
