Managed to turn another 3 'cos I squeezed this afternoon off:winking: Won't get many more opportunities as I start a large job on Monday so I'd lay money on that being the day my Timberbits order finally arrives!

I'm confident enough finally to risk some better blanks so one in Zebra and second spalted beech (have had this beech for 30 years having rescued it from the fire and found it a bit soft in places).

Had a go at another bullet pen, this time a combination copy between Paulm and Edlea. Timber is rosewood (Brazilian I think from memory) and like Eds has no clip.

I'm quite pleased with the result though I did have an issue when I realised that without timber inserted in the case I couldn't centralise the brass tube at the nib end unless i first fitted it to the nib and just glued it all together.
I quick rummage around produced some 8mm microbore copper pipe which drilled out slightly and some abrasive made a perfect sleeve - worked a treat.

Bob, Worth the effort you obviously have gone to really like your cartridge pen the tip is matched to the cartridge so many others are not (very distracting).

Choosing this timber and the pics allow a good view.

Thanks for showing mate.
