Went to Belmont Woodfest and had a great couple of days managed to sell 15 things it may not sound a lot but it soon adds up in terms of the pennies. spoke to many woodturners and even Dave from penkitzandbitz and Mark AKA Flexi of this forum.
Had not seen Dave for some time and did not recognise him must be old age creeping in. If you are reading this Dave my apologies. I did have a good chat with both Dave and Mark, as well as other like minded people.
I did forget to take some photos but did manage this one on returning home this seemed to have found its way into the car. Me to missus "How the hell did that get in there did you put it in" Missus You already have enough wood about time you got rid of some"
it is lightly spalted beech and measures 47" long 17" wide and 3" thick. I just did not know that wood seems to be magnetic as lately I seem to attract wood.
