This is one I finished recently of which I am very proud. The final product was nice – great pen, really – but I am happiest about the process of making the pen and working with the customer. Bigger than I usually make (14 mm cap threads and #6 Bock nib), the customer knew what he wanted. The pride comes from satisfying someone who knows what he wants – pretty uplifting. (The customer happens to be a pastor – the cross roll-stop in nickel was a fun finishing touch.) The DiamondCast "Purple Ecto" blank is dazzling.

Beautiful pen Greg. Superb finish. A lesser mortal, like me, would have turned that cross into a clip and cheapened it. Lesson there for those who will see. Great example of working with your client to produce the goods! :drool:

Funny you mention that. That is exactly what I did...and then the customer and I decided to do the roll stop instead. (Kind of a shame it didn't work out - the clip was in sterling silver.) As you said, it was really just over the top.
