So my sister brought the Dolphin Swan stick back for me to finish off shining it, it such a goodly shite and briney day I sat in the garden wiv it init?

Like a good sister should she produced beer from the boot of her jam jar and asked me to show her how to do this whittling lark.
As it happens I was putting an edge back on a funny shaped thing I bought in Newark, unhappy with my purchase cos it didn't have that crack when I got it.
So I picked up a lump of fencing and started to play with this weird tool, I produced the quickest most practical piece yet with just a blade and a bit of scratch.
Within 10 minutes I had made something small enuff to fit sis's hand and big enuff to fit her gob, RESULT!!!
A drop of sunflower oil to finish it and more beer init?

Maybe not perfikly symmetric but so easy to do and very quick, why don't whittlers start on these???

Take a guess
That's one doesn't look as much like a Dolphin as the last one but still a good effort :whistling: :funny:

Cos most new starters don't have a nifty little tool with a crack in it:funny::funny:

You're going to gain a reputation for speedy gobstoppers Brian. Just don't tell everyone they're so quick to make so you can charge more for them. Wish my sister brought me beer:rolling:

Our Brian's sister is over the moon
Because he made her a goodly spoon

He's very happy and full of cheer
After necking all his sisters beer

But all wern't well when she had gone
She took away his beloved swan !

:wink:Vic:wink:
