Sorting through some of my "stuff" at the weekend I unearthed some of the chemicals I've used in the past on metal which includes "brass black". has anyone tried this instead of painting the tubes or is the chemical too corrosive for the thin brass?

Thanks Peter and William.

Yeah I already know how to use the stuff, done it many times in the past just not on pen tubes, my only query really is whether it will weaken the thin brass tubes too much.
Possibly not worth the faffing about though!:thinks:
