Glad to hear it thanks. I'm sure I can challenge that theory though! lol

I'm getting a lot of enjoyment from it I must say. I get satisfaction using my lathe for metalwork but it's very different turning wood as it's so much more hands on & direct input.
Plus I can rough stuff down in no time, which can't be said even with aluminium on my little machine - it gets very tedious at times.
